iVascular is a fast growing company founded in 2010 in Barcelona (Spain) with the aim of developing advanced medical devices and therapies for the treatment of vascular diseases (coronary and peripheral). The team that initiated this project has more than 30 years of experience in the field of vascular devices, being responsible for achieving one of the first CE marks for a drug-eluting stent.
iVascular was born to become a reference company in the vascular sector by leveraging the value of technology and basing its strategy on vertical integration. We design, develop, manufacture and market vascular devices. We control the entire life cycle of the product, from the basic raw materials to the final product. Our staff has extensive knowledge in biopolymers, coatings and drug delivery. All this adds up to a renowned expertise in the development of medical devices and implants.
The quality system in iVascular has the main purpose of achieving excellence in all processes, being our goal to provide products and services that meet the highest quality standards, to obtain the satisfaction of our customers. iVascular owns and develops its own technologies, in order to ensure the highest quality standards in all our products. We own a technology center with more than 1,000 m² of ISO 7 and ISO 8 rooms and 250 m² of R&D laboratories, equipped with the most advanced and complete instrumentation in the field of biotechnology.
Thanks to the know-how provided by our scientists and technicians, and an adequate investment in R&D, we have obtained the CE mark of 30 medical devices that we are co-marketing in more than 70 countries. We are present in hospitals all over the world, thanks to a wide distribution network, based on a high knowledge of local markets to meet the needs of each user.
The future:
Currently, iVascular is facing the largest and most ambitious expansion in its history, tripling the size of its facilities, multiplying by six its production capacity and investing in new lines of development such as NeuroInterventional and Structural.
