Apolo AI is a HealthTech company founded in Madrid in 2021 with a clear mission: to transform medical diagnostics through artificial intelligence and computational modeling. Its first product is CARDIA, an AI-powered medical software designed for the early diagnosis, prevention, and monitoring of cardiovascular diseases.

CARDIA was created with a comprehensive vision of cardiovascular health. It brings diagnostic technology closer to patients—wherever they are—and provides healthcare professionals with precise, automated, and accessible tools. It tackles key challenges in today’s cardiac diagnostics, such as variability in echocardiogram interpretation, heavy manual workloads, and limited access to specialists in some settings.
Thanks to its AI engine—trained on over 1.3 million medical images labeled by expert cardiac imaging professionals—CARDIA automates echocardiographic analysis and generates reports with key cardiac metrics. It also compares results against clinical guideline benchmarks to support better-informed medical decisions. This leads to faster, more efficient, objective, and accurate analyses with reduced human error.

CARDIA is the only technology capable of generating 3D heart reconstructions from 2D echocardiograms, enhancing the anatomical consistency of the metrics and improving clinical accuracy and relevance.
By design, CARDIA is vendor-neutral, compatible with equipment from various manufacturers, and cloud-based, requiring no local installation and operating seamlessly across multiple platforms and operating systems.

To meet the needs of different clinical environments, CARDIA is available in two complementary versions:
CARDIA Lite: Designed for primary care and low-resource settings. It enables early detection and basic monitoring of cardiac conditions.
CARDIA Full: Developed for hospitals and specialized centers. It offers advanced analysis with 3D reconstruction and integrates with hospital systems for comprehensive clinical follow-up. The 3D capabilities allow for deeper insights into heart anatomy and function, optimizing the use of more complex and costly imaging tests.
